Ordering for a Political Campaign

We put this guide together for local and national organizers who may not be familiar with how to order imprinted items for their campaign. We offer guidance and expertise to help make the ordering process as smooth as possible for you.

DKG Promotions offers:

• Over 25 years of expertise in the industry. We have strong relationships with our suppliers, and we know the industry well. Our knowledge of printing processes, artwork formats and preparation, and production abilities positions us to make sure your order is produced correctly and professionally.
• Union printing and manufacturing. When ordering for a Democratic campaign, it's important to choose union-made and -printed items whenever possible. The union "bug" on your items indicates you support unions, good wages and working conditions, and other progressive values. 
• Non-union printing and manufacturing. Some items simply aren't made in the United States or by union shops, or their cost might be prohibitive. We will always recommend a union-made item, but in the end you may choose to go with a non-union item.
• Free and reduced cost artwork preparation. Our in-house artwork preparation capabilities allows for fast turnaround and the ability to make changes quickly and efficiently.

Things to Know

• Plan ahead. At the time of this writing there are still over 20 Democratic candidates running for the presidential nomination, and all of them are looking for union-made items. Industry suppliers are swamped with orders, so production schedules may be extended a bit beyond the norm. We will do our best to accommodate rush orders, but try to anticipate your needs as early as possible. 
• Most items in our online catalog include a 1-color imprint. Your design may require more than one color or a full color imprint, which will probably cost more. When in doubt, ask for a custom quote on the item(s) you want to order.
• The more you order, the lower the cost per item. So think about how many you think you may need over a certain period, and order accordingly.
